What we collect
- Name, email address, company name, and the message you choose to send through the contact form.
- Details you submit through the quiz lead capture if you ask for your AI action plan.
- Information you submit when enquiring about or buying the Close The Gap session, including your questionnaire answers and scheduling details.
- Google Meet recordings and notes if you buy the Close The Gap session and the calls are recorded for delivery back to you.
- Basic technical data that hosting providers normally process, such as IP address, request logs, device/browser information, and referral data.
- Website analytics events such as page visits, session duration, scroll depth, clicked links or buttons, landing page, referrer, UTM fields, advertising click IDs, quiz completion events, and checkout initiation events.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and decide whether there is a sensible commercial fit.
- To provide the action plan, follow-up emails, or Close The Gap session deliverables you requested.
- To schedule Google Meet calls, deliver recordings, and produce your assessment report.
- To take or administer payment for the Close The Gap session through Stripe.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To understand whether advertising traffic is producing useful visits, quiz completions, and checkout activity.
- To maintain business records and protect against spam, abuse, or misuse.
Lawful bases
We generally process personal data because:
- it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
- it is in our legitimate interests to run and protect the website and respond to business enquiries; or
- you have consented, where consent is the appropriate basis.
Who we share it with
We use infrastructure providers to host and process form submissions. That includes Netlify for hosting and form handling, Stripe for payment processing, and Google services for email and Google Meet delivery.
If you pay for the Close The Gap session, Stripe handles the payment information. We do not store your full card details on this site.
We may also share information where required to comply with legal obligations or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
Analytics and tracking
We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft Clarity, and 8020AI first-party analytics to understand site performance and advertising attribution. For all visitors, we may record a first-arrival event with landing page, referrer, selected campaign parameters, timestamp, and server-side diagnostics. For UK and European visitors, fuller analytics and advertising storage follows the consent choices shown in the cookie banner. For visitors whose browser signals suggest they are outside the UK and Europe, our own fuller first-party analytics may run by default unless they reject optional tracking.
First-party analytics stores random visitor, session, and page identifiers in our own database only when fuller tracking is enabled. Before UK or European consent, the first-arrival event does not set or reuse those identifiers. We use a hash for IP-derived diagnostics rather than storing the raw IP address in analytics events.
Retention
We keep enquiry data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for correspondence, service discussions, record keeping, or legal obligations. If an enquiry goes nowhere, we aim not to keep it longer than necessary.
If you buy the Close The Gap session, we retain the commercial records, questionnaire, report, and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or transfer your personal data. You may also have the right to complain to the ICO in the UK.
If you want to exercise a right, use the contact form and make the request clear.
